Greetings,   Yesterday's meeting had  21 in attendance.
    The meeting was short and to the point.  
   Our fighter practices continue to be held on the days previously discussed. The Domesday book is still in the works. HE Chrystal is looking for Raven art work for the cover of the Quoth. A paper copy of this months issue was passed around and we all commented on the niceness of the  cover picture which has 2 beloved members of our Barony on it. You will have to go check it out to see who it is!
   Our demo was discussed and ideas were brainstormed how to have more Baronial members participating next year. We need to think about the fact of   'do we want to do this? / and if we do, then we need more help from other members' .  Having more members participating would enable us to rotate and stay fresher throughout the day.  We could also have a sign up sheet or some other way of helping people help the demo be successful. More on the demo later from Mistress Shanahan after the last museum meeting.  The tree donation was given to the museum  for Dr. Nolan. This donation makes us 'Raven'  members of the museum.    :)  After the tree is planted, we will have a private  get together for our Barony to honor him. Upcoming news will be forthwith! 
   Klaudie was introduced as the upcoming new president of the Raven's Guild. Vivat to her for volunteering! We all look forward to the next school year playing with the Raven's Guild.
   Scribes Guild will meet on Sunday, May 20,  from 1-6 at the fire station.  Two champion scrolls are needing a volunteer- Brewing and Bardic. See HE Chrystal if you would like to take one of these on.
   Defender was discussed. Our first work day will be Saturday, May 19.  We will tackle the road coming in and the cattle guard. Rakes, hoes etc. will be the implements of  the day. It is in the shade which is  good thing! We are hoping to get  tractor help and some donated gravel.  Mirabelis will be putting in for King's Lancer to be held at Defender. Berengaria will be redoing the stalls in the equestrian area. 
   Steppes was planned with  our merchant table being set up early on Thursday, May 24  by HE Brian.  If you are not  going, please get your sale item to him by Wednesday, May 23, (HE Pace's birthday!).Just had to add that !  If you will be going to Steppes get with HE Brian at  the event. He also will need help with co-merchanting to give him a respite during the day. 
    An  informal verbal vote was given for putting in to host Queen's Champion on Oct. 8. HerrDetlef will be the autocrat and we will try first to use the Stones site. A side board luncheon was the idea passed around as we will just have served a feast at Defender.
