[Ravensfort] Rapier practice Ocr 21, 2012

Greeting all

Rapier practice today was fun and full of learning. In attendance was H.E.
Crystal, Lady Rosalia, Heather and myself. Lady Rosalia opened up fighter
practice with basic foot work, and parry drills. H.E. Crystal took over by
introducing a freeze drill that prepares the fighter for moving on the
field. I assisted both Lady Rosalia and H.E. Crystal while they were
teaching. Often serving as test dummy and punching bag. The drills ran from
09:00 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. with some limited sparing, from 10:30 A.M. to just
after 11:00 A.M. So everyone could focus on the knowledge learned from the
drills. Also vivat to Heather who now has all of her own rapier gear. The
weather was cool and there were a few dark clouds that hung over, but we
were thankful that nothing spewed during practice. Hope to see everyone
next Sunday.
