[Ravensfort] Rapier Practice Oct 21, 2012

The weather channel is calling for NO RAIN for Sunday, with Highs in the
mid 80s and lows in the upper 60s. Rapier practice is a go for Sunday. Last
Sunday Only Rosalia and myself attended, but the weather may have spooked
people. This week we are going to proceeding with the first half of
practice of drilling, then spending the last half sparing utilizing the
knowledge learned during the drills. This week will will be looking out the
differences in use of the off hand as suggested by Ridolfo Capoferro in
contrast to the use of the off hand as the Venetian Rapier Masters
suggested. Along with basic foot work, parrys, as well as use of the
quillons. Hope to see everyone out this Sunday.
