Good morning, all --

Equestrian field and camping area WILL be re-mowed and additional locusts
removed come Saturday. Persimmon stubs in the Eq field will be introduced
to my freshly-sharpened garden hoe. The four small(er) stalls will be
finished up as Billy & I ran out of nails, and short of boards, when we
were building them this past Monday. The stalls closest to the entrance
WILL NOT be used and parking in part of that area will be prohibited due to
a dead/shedding tree that's too dangerous to cut. It will be roped off with
caution tape. I've been taking RSVPs for stalls at Defender on the Eq list
and will post an update there after we get done with Saturday's workday
activities.

Because of the amount of work required just by the equestrian end of the
site, we won't be able to work on any other areas for Defender so best to
bring your own mowers and things as ours will be pretty busy, it appears.
Pray for rain and cooler temps on Saturday as Monday was miserably hot down
there -- even with shade and a breeze! Bring more water than you think you
could possibly need. I drank 2-1/2 gallons within 4 hours, by myself.

We REALLY need to discuss the possibility of fires at Defender again unless
we get a LOT of rain and the Walker Co. burn ban is lifted. It's hard to
fight fire in a long skirt! See y'all tonight...
