Greetings everyone,
  Our Seneschal, Lady Seneca, has been called away for a few days due to the passing of her grandmother. Please think of her and her family at this sad time in their lives. She will return late this coming weekend and will be available to get with anyone on paperwork due early next week.
  On another note then, just a reminder that we need an autocrat for Southern Regional War College in Feb. The deadline is at the end of this month, which is one week away. As of right now, we have no one offering to step up to do this for our Barony. It is an easy event to be a first timer on and you would have lots of help with the job. His Excellency and I, Seneca and others will be there to help every step of the way. It literally runs itself since the purpose of the event is to authorize people for War and other fighting events. It would involve putting an event ad in the Black Star, contacting several people to run the areas that need authorizing. That is pretty much it. It is great for a first timer like we said, but of course we would welcome a veteran autocrat too. If you want to get your feet wet and show the Kingdom who you are, this is a great event to run. People who came last year loved the idea and asked us to do it again this year. So we expect a good turnout for this.
  This is an exciting time in our Barony with Yule coming, Crown Tourney in January and War College in February. We rock and the Kingdom appreciates it.
