[Ravensfort] work weekend and business meeting this weekend - May 16-18, 2014

Good afternoon Raven's Fort!
 
I wanted to remind everyone that there
will be a work weekend at the Stones this weekend, May 16-18, 2014.  We
have had a great time restoring the shine to the Stones, but there is still
much to do.  Rock is being delivered to repair the road (all hands on deck
for that one!), and the storage shed needs some much needed attention.
 This too is a great time to work on your camp site or help spruce up
common areas.  Come out for a day or the weekend, as there will be folks
camping and port-o-potties will be on hand.


After a day of work and fun, there will be
a business meeting (for folks who have been asking about it) on Saturday in the
kitchen area to begin around 5pm.  After the meeting, and since it was
such a success in March, a potluck dinner for Saturday is planned, and with no
burn ban in effect, we may well be able to have a fire (I'll bring the
marshmallows! )
  H.E. Brian will have his grill, so bring some meat (or veggies) to
throw on while we visit.

Remember the more people who come out the lighter the workload - and the more
fun!  So please come out, meet new members to the group and reconnect with
ones you haven't seen in awhile.    Although there are
port-o-potties there will not be potable water nor food on site (with exception
of the potluck dinner on Saturday), so please plan accordingly.  Since we
are headed deep into May, it may be warm, so remember to bring drinks to stay
hydrated.
