Kill and grill weekend!

At populace we discussed the upcoming work weekend. June 16-17 2018. People will be arriving on site Saturday morning around 8 am to help repair the kitchen, replace one panel of the storage building and to paint. Lots of painting so please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting paint on. List field posts and building walls. The plan is to work from 8-12:00. Plan on warm weather. We plan to camp this weekend and have a portacan on site. Grass will be cut in the areas we plan to be in for this weekend. Please bring water and any thing else you may want to eat. Some work may run into the afternoon, but we plan to relax and be social by then.
Sunday we plan to hold a kill and grill on site. Our friends of Graywood plan to attend. At 9:00 am the Rapier Marshal has planed to hold practice. Archery and armored combat will be held when ready. A bbq Pit will be on site for cooking so bring something to put on the pit and your favorite beverage to enjoy our company.
Any SCA members who wish to come out and enjoy the weekend, even help some with our ongoing projects are welcome. We have several groups in the surrounding areas that have established camps. This would be a perfect weekend to tidy them up or establish one.
Please do not forget water and protective gear. Bug repellent and a chair are good to have also.
