Shower water barrels and cube are clean a filled.

Six hundred plus gallons for horses on a trailer at DSD's ready to be pulled
over Friday.

Thank you Baron Brian for the continued use of your well water.

 

The site looks very good.

The land owners have started timing their yearly mowing to take place just
before Defender.

I asked DSD to tell them that it did not go unnoticed and to give them our
thanks.

It allows us to concentrate on our areas with the small brush-hog and the
mowers.

 

The only really important thing that I see at The Stones that remains to be
done is cleaning the cattle-guard. 

It would be unsafe to leave it open during the event the way it is.

In the bad ole days before we installed the cattle-guard everyone had to
stop and open and stop and close the gate every time.

No Fun.  (and I'm not talking about the Iggy Pop album)

The Baron has a pick-ax and a narrow shovel and is planning to dig down six
or seven inches in the worst parts.

Just enough to discourage any wandering bovine from attempting to cross.

If Your Excellency could keep us posted on when you plan on tackling this, I
for one will try to lighten your burden.
