[Raven's Fort] Timeline for the Selection of Their Excellencies' Heirs

[Seneschal of Raven's Fort]

I have received the following message from Dame Nicaize, the Southern
Regional Seneschal of Ansteorra.

Greetings to the Barony of Raven's Fort and the populace of Ansteorra,

Their Excellencies of Raven's Fort have announced their intention to step
down at Defender of the Fort in September.  Thanks to them for their
service to the people of Raven's Fort for these last few years.  For those
interested in being considered to be the next Landed Nobility of Raven's
Fort, this is the transition plan.  Please contact me if you have any
questions or need any additional information.

4/28 Letters of Intent due.  Candidates should email Crown and Kingdom
Seneschal.  Note that these letters will be published on the website, all
social media, and the newsletter, so these should focus on introducing
yourselves to the Crown and the populace and putting forward your goals for
the Barony.

5/4 Letters of Intent published in Newsletter & on Social media

Month of May - Crown will conduct interviews with the Candidates

6/8 Polling at Raven's Fort Populace Meeting

6/15 Absentee Polling Closes

Month of July - Crown and Kingdom Seneschal will announce the next Landed
Nobility of Raven's Fort

9/20 Investiture at Defender of the Fort

Please note that everyone can provide input to the Crown regarding the
candidates, regardless of where they live.  The form to provide feedback
will be provided at the time of the polling.  Please refrain from
discussing candidates on SCA social media - all posts and comments will be
removed.  Remember that this is a polling and not a vote; the decision is
up to the Crown.  You will also have the opportunity to write letters and
otherwise give the Crown your feedback regarding candidates, and this is a
good way to express your thoughts beyond ranked preferences on the polling
form.
