Greetings to the list...
I must agree that the newcomer's card is a much better idea than the list was.  I have brought a newcomer to an event and watched those at the gate (by no fault of their own) search for the list that had her name on it.  Luckily, they found the sheet of paper that her name was on and she was permitted to enter the event free.  The fact that the list had to be searched for disturbed me and I think the cards are an excellent choice.  It IS something tangible for a newcomer to present at troll and there is no scrabbling for a loose piece of paper.  I say bravo to all of those who have worked on this idea...
