outside when the result was determined. Your cherry cobbler was excellent
and the filling a perfect topping for the cheesecake. It seemed like
everyone put a lot of TLC into all the food. The campfire, guitars,
singing and drumming kept good times going till the small hours.
Giovanna and Pace's hospitality was flawless. They seemed to have foreseen
every need. As I looked out from their front door this morning it
was easy to imagine SCA tents scattered under the trees in their giant field
near the road. I guess I don't need to mention that Centerville is half
way between Stargate and The Steppes / Elfsea. Anyway, thanks to
everyone that worked to make the gathering a celebration of family. May we
find gateways to forgiveness and understanding in the coming year.
