Hello everyone, I am taking this chance to write since my computer is working sort of. It seems when there is a storm in Okla. we have troubles since that is where it is routed out of! Weird!<br> Anyway I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday and New Year! Our business meeting went well with 15 members attending.<br> We discussed having a membership drive to increase our numbers. At the January Populace meeting we will be doing just such. I will have membership forms, envelopes etc. I will even take post dated checks and hold them and mail it for you when the date comes up. We will also have a surprise at that meeting. So everyone bring some currency to help with this effort. AND if you have been thinking about joining please do so in January. I will help in any way I can and we will all be forever grateful.<br> January Populace is also important because we will be planning our event. We need everyone's help and hopefully your attendance.
<br> We tentatively set up Jan. 5-6 and Feb. 9-10 for workdays at the Stones.<br> We are working on demos at two area libraries in the New Year.<br> Officer openings are- Chronicler, Herald, MOC, A&S, Knight Marshall and Reeve (deputy)asap.<br> We discussed future expenditures of carpets and will rent a privy for next years Yule since it is an 'official' sort of event now. We set aside the 2nd weekend of Dec. So be there or be mundanely square.<br> We would love to see our Baronial guard get busy and looking good asap.<br> We are going to make business cards for us (Lord Gundy is checking on this)<br> We are going to make flyers both SCA (Lord Pace) and Raven's Fort ones (Lord Devin and HE Kitsune).<br> On the workday we might decorate our Kawasaki mule like a horse or something. Brainstorming ideas and help on this would be great.We want to use it at the event.<br> There will be a meeting of the Brewer's Guild
on Dec. 23 at the Lizard Keep.<br> We will begin making a Domesday book (phone book) of our members.(HE Chrystal).<br> I will begin getting our Order of Precedence for all members.<br> I may have forgotten something but as you can see we covered a lot of stuff in a little time with good food and drink and much laughter.<br> Have an awesome Christmas, Holiday, and New Years.<br> Much love and affection, Giovanna<br> <p>
