<DIV>His Grace was a devoted father of four: Suzanne, Rachel, Matthew, and William, a loving husband, loyal to his friends and a moral and life-loving man. Duke Richard was respected and beloved by his Knight, Duke Patrick Michael Gordonne and his Sensei, Duke Sigmund the Wingfooted and was a member of a group of his peers and friends known simply in Ansteorra as "The Backyard".</DIV>

<DIV>He reigned with two Queens; his beloved wife, Countess Anora Frayne of Winward and his friend, Countess Gladwen of Ayelsford. His Grace was a force to be reckoned with on the field of battle.
