Subject: missing submissions

I've been helping out with consultation here in Bryn Gwlad, and have
discovered about half a dozen individuals in the barony (so far) who
sent in submissions quite some time ago and never saw them turn up in
the ILoI. I would like to make sure you don't have any similar
problems in your area. (See how optimistically I phrased that?) To
that end, I would be grateful if you would post the following
announcement to your branch's mailing list(s), and send me a quick
e-mail to let me know you've done so. If you want to suggest people in
your branch contact you, instead, that's fine. But please pass on to
me their names, what they're looking for, and when they submitted, so I
can approach Asterisk with a single, comprehensive list and will know
when everybody who stepped forward with this complaint has been
assisted.

Recently I've spoken to several people in the Southern Region who've
submitted items for registration with the College of Arms but never
seen them turn up in an Ansteorran Internal Letter of Intent. (That is
to say, they paid their fees and gave their paperwork to their branch
herald, who sent it up the chain to kingdom, but their items were never
evaluated by Ansteorra's heralds and either sent on to Laurel or
returned to them for further work.) They all made their submissions a
herald or two ago, and nobody currently in office had any idea they
were waiting for anything.

If you have this problem and haven't already talked to me about it,
please drop me a line. I'll be asking the same of folks all across the
Southern Region. Submissions should not just disappear after they're
sent in, and I will make it my personal business to find out what's
happened to them and help you get the problem resolved appropriately.
