<DIV><FONT size=4>Youth Combat (Chivalric) Marshal Authorization
Class 12 Noon, Room 107</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Participants who complete this course and the Youth
Authorization course successfully may be authorized as Youth Combat Marshals in
accordance with the following policy:</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4> -13-17 year olds may be authorized as youth
Marshals following a Youth Combat Marshal Authorization Class</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4> -Adults (18+) may be authorized as Youth
Combat Marshals upon completion of a background check through the SCA. You
do not have to be a fighter to become a youth marshal.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>* Must also attend Youth Combat (Chivalric) Authorization
Class</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>1 hour class</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Youth Combat (Chivalric) Authorization Class 2 pm, Room
107</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Children MUST be accompanied by a parent or legal
guardian. No exceptions</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Participants who complete the course successfully will be
authorized for youth combat. This class contains both lecture and active
participation. All youth are expected to armor appropriately and
demonstrate their understanding of the lecture through authorization fights with
others of their level or an authorized youth marshal.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Limited loaner gear will be available. Your are
encouraged to bring your own when possible.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4> -Athletic cups for boys are
essential</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4> -please wear long sleeves and pants or long
skirt for class</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=4>Age Range: 6-17 years of age w/parent or legal
