Greetings unto the list!!<br><br>Populace for August is coming up and as the new incoming reeve I have a few things to throw out to get us all prepared for Defender of the Fort.<br>

I will be giving the gate class at the September populace. I will not be able to attend Business Meeting for August becasue I am going to Toronto! (woot for me!) If you want to sit a gate shift you must have this class!!! I can not stress to everyone enough about how important this class is for sitting gate shifts. A few things have changed since out last event, I want to make sure everyone gets on the same page. Don Charles has agreed to be head Gate, so he will be passing around a gate shift sign up sheet at populace as well. It is my intentions to shut gate down overnight and open it back up at 6am. I would also like to see if we cant get more than 2 people for the morning shifts as those tend to be the heaviest. Just as an FYI of what to talk about at populace!<br><br>Also, it has been mentioned to shake populace up a bit. I think that with the recent demos we should try to make populace more
entertaining and since we are going to have potential new members show up from the interest from the demos, it should be fun. Maybe do an A&S chat, have pizza or chineese take out delivered to the firestation and do an A&S after? Any ideas? And please please please try to come in garb. It is so much more entertaining for folks to see that we really do live life in the current middle ages!! Or maybe do some more discussions of what we have going on for Defender in lieu of information we received from Round Table. Ideas???<br>
