<div>If it's any help, think of being a "feast coordinator" instead of a "feast steward" or even a "feastocrat." Being a feast coordinator does not mean you are responsible for preparing and serving the whole feast yourself. The feast coordinator just directs traffic. It's all about delegating. Doing it all by oneself is impractical, if not downright impossible. Nobody should expect anybody to do it all by himself. Delegating. The feast coordinator writes a list of what needs to be done, and then that person gets people to write their names down by each thing that needs to be done. Then, that person does that thing. You hold the list of things. You don't DO the things. That's simple enough, isn't it?</div>

<div>When I was event steward at the 2nd baronial DOF, I was overwhelmled by how little I actually did at that event. I wrote up the event announcement to send to the BlackStar. That was pretty much it. I didn't even have to ask people to do this or that. People just came right up. Baron Raven's fort had the site prep under control, and Centurion Michael had the feast under control. I had nothing to do with the feast, nothing to do with the lists or other competitions. Everybody came together. It was beautiful. There were a couple things that should have been done differently, but for the most part, the event was a success, and even though I was the event steward, I didn't feel right taking credit for any of it. It was all the Barony.</div>

<div>So step right up! Being the feast coordinator or even the event coordinator is no overwhelming undertaking. That's what we have a whole barony for. In Raven's Fort, to quote the Rodgers and Hammerstein song, you'll never walk alone. </div>

-Pasta Salad with bell peppers, zuccini, mushroom, red onion, tomato<br><br>-Bean Salad with green beans, kidney beans<br><br>-Italian Wedding Soup (likely the only part prepared on Saturday)<br><br>-Bread, preferably chibatta, lightly baked<br>
