That would be great to have that stuff set up early. I am not sure what gott cans are but in storage are the large jugs for waterbearing. I got the small one for behind the thrones. HE Brian and HE DSD will be setting up pavillions so get with them for placement.There is no map but there will only be two areas for smoking. One by the showers which will be easily visible from the ropes etc. we put around it and in Swein camp , around the campfire ring. We need to stress 'THERE WILL ABSOLUTELY BE NO SMOKING AT THE STONES'! Even on a midnight walk, no smoking at all. Smokers will just have to deal with it. <br>
The list for waterbearing is-<br>lots of ice, <br>gatoraide, not red<br>pickles (if you buy them cut up , it is easier)<br>bananas<br>water bottles with water already in them for the start<br> we would like to have cool wash clothes as well<br>
<br>In the water bearing bucket are the trays, bottle and jug covers, tablecloths, knives etc. I bought new water bottles every time because of the cleanliness factor etc. Buy the ones with pop tops. Usually our Baronial children help with waterbearing but we will be 3 short because of Irial's dealing with her health issues right now. We sure hope she feels better soon. <br>
We need to get with DSD on a schedule, and comp list, he mentioned it at Populace. Everyone who works gate should stress the fire rules to everyone who checks in!<br> I will have a hug for who brings us coffee first thing in the morning Sat. and Sunday!!! <br>We feel that these are good ideas. Two smoking areas is fine with us. We will have some chairs for the Nobles Luncheon and they could be moved into the smoking area near the showers when not in use at lunch. There will be around 6. Swein camp is fine and love the idea of using the fire pit there for smoking area. I know the Swein are good SCAers and will watch the party goers like a hawk. DSD we would like you to talk to the fire prevention ideas at morning court. Do you want us to bring the Kawasaki? It cannot hold a large water container , too much weight. But we could bring it if need be. The Princess may want to see the famous stones and I could ride her up there or to archery if need be as well. By the way, Sir Keif, if you are out there? The two biggies of course are our allowance for cigarette smokers and camp stoves. I want to centralize any fire potential as much as possible so we're not scattering resources. My thought, or plan, is to rake two areas in the kitchen/ storage area. The camp stove area being immeadiatly adjacent to the kitchen and the smoking area down a bit further toward the showers. Both areas will be shaded and in close proximity to trees. By rake, I mean absolutely bare of ANY combustable material. We'll coordine off the area with barrier tape or rope and post the fire rules. We'll have water on hand, sand, fire extinguishers, Smokey the Bear, and Fire Chief Hobbs waggin a finger in the smokers face, if possible. :) We'll scrounge whatever chairs are available, for comfort.<br>

The camp stove area will be set with a couple of tables and fire safety items.<br>
<br>
I want to post fire rules everywhere there's a flat spot, so if someone has a staple gun, please bring it.<br>

With Alaric's permission, we will establish a second smoking area at or near Swiencamp for the evening activities. I have yet to discuss it with him, so this idea is tenative.<br>
<br>
There is one tree across the road near the shower. That will also have to be removed this weekend. It's small, but tall. I'll check that my saw is running and whack it up.<br>
<br>
The list areas need a good gongferming. The chips are dry, so it should be enjoyable. Bring a shovel if you are squeamish about such things.<br>
