This is what Devin O'Donnabhain and I are thinking for Artisans of
the Fort and Raven's Tourney in September. In order to maintain the
focus on arts and sciences activities and integrate the martial arts
events into that focus, we want every entrant in the Raven's Tourneys
(chivalric, rapier, archery, equestrian) to be sponsored by an entrant
in one of the A&S competitions (A&S, brewing, or bardic). So
that one artisan can sponsor two combatants, we are stipulating that any
artisan who has at least two separate entries in either of the three
A&S competitions may sponsor up to two entrants in the martial
competitions. We want at least one A&S entry for every martial arts
entry, because we want to encourage A&S activity (since the Raven's
Fort arts and sciences champions will be named at the event).

Detlef von Marburg, CSM
