Hi,

Some of you out there already know me but I just found the list last
night. I am Annejke (An-ick-ca) MacAiodh (MacKay). I have been in
the society since AS IX, when I held me first event. I cooked my
first one that twelfth night and have been in the kitchen ever since.
I have lived and cooked in the Midrealm, Caid, East and Atlantia.
I have taught at many Universities in all four kingdoms as well as
Pennsic. I hosted the InterKingdom Cooks Symposium two years ago.

I have a large library and do not mind looking things up for folk.
As it turns out I actually learned to cook from a period cookbook (a
great...g...g...g grandmother had written and my father inherited).
So when he started teaching me to cook I learned the period way and
have been learning modern short cuts ever since. One of my favorite
this to do are subtilites and have made well over 100 in the past 21
years. I also do research on the basics, like the history of sugar,
candies, chocolate, red cabbage, etc. I am looking forward to
learning and having fun on this list.

If I can help let me know.
