To borrow from Art Carney: "Hel-looooooooo, haggis!"

One of the last times I served haggis at an event, I led the servers out
of the kitchen, called for silence, and explained the ancient traditions
involved with the service of this most ancient dish. I spoke of the
habit of serving the haggis flaming (while lighting the sparklers stuck
into the one for high table), of the tradition of serving it with a wee
dram of fine malt uiskebagh (while pouring a shot of 15-year-old
Laphraoig), of serving it accompanied by the skirling of the pipes
(signalling for the kazoo ensemble to begin playing "Innagadda Davida"),
drank the shot, and returned to the kitchen with my bottle.

It was a disgrace and an outrage, and everyone appeared to be having a
blast.

Oh, and they liked the haggis, too.
