Hi all,
I have just joined the list so I thought I would introduce
myself. I have been involved with the SCA for the the last
dozen of so years. My main interest in the SCA at the moment
is cooking (previously having been a stickjock/marshal type)
I am particually interested in bread making and baking. I
try to cook for a couple of feasts each year and I run a
bakery at a camping event called The Festival of Rowany
which is held each year in Australia over Easter weekend.
I am attempting to slowly create a 14C italian bakery including
ovens, kneading breaks, etc, while maintaining modern hygine.

My other SCA activities include being a member of the orders
of the Laurel and Pelican, playing (badly) with armour making
and I am the current chair of the Australian Commitee of the SCA
INC (usually known as the OZIBOD).

I am always on the lookout for bread and cake recipies and
information on period kitchen technology. I would love hear
if you have any interesting snippits or sources.

Yours, dreaming of large servings (anyone can serve the dream)
