I think I missed something. Where did the numbers come from? Is this Volume 1, post #51? Anyhow, I just looked at Scully. Pure white bread was the very best, and preferred by physicians. He doesn't say anything about how it got that way or even how often people could get it. He does say that 'pandemayne' was made from the flower of wheat flour, alone. Allison
