Christopher here,

I've been reading some of the messages out here concerning whether or
not a Feastocrat should pay site fee & feast fee. When I take on these
projects I usually budget in the expenses of the feast, that NONE of my
cooks will pay. I've been lucky enough to recruite some proffesional
chefs to assist me, personal friends. These folks are not in the SCA
and they are there as my guest. Our Baronial leadership has supported
me in this aspect and all i had to do was let them know in advance of my
intentions. I'm VERY lucky to have a great leadership council here, St.
Louis-- Barony of Three Rivers.

I also started something that has recieved very good revues. We all
know that sometimes folks will show up to an event, and the site fee
will take their last penny. I reserve the right to have "kitchen
guests". I don't go crazy with this, last time i gave away 4 feast
tokens. These are not people that work-off a feast ticket, they are
simply guests of the kitchen.

I'm sure some of you will disagree with this position, but so far it
works for me !
Thanx

Christopher
