Recipe for a Successful Cook's Guild:

1 Devoted individualy who wants to learn to cook, and has a little knowledge.
5-6 fresh young faces who like to play with food.
1 kitchen whose owner doesn't mind messes
1 box of various referance books
10-12 Fighters playing outside who don't mind eating mistakes
Enough ingredients to make it interesting (we charge $5.00 or so a head to
cover this--pick the recipes ahead of time and go shopping)
An open mind
Abject culinary bravery
An unbiased palate.
Someone who will record it all for posterity.

Combine all lightly together. If desired, add libations as warranted.

Surprise: It's a Food party. Our group has folks who ONLY show up to eat.
They will happily pay $5.00 to help defray the groceries, and then they
comment on the dishes for us (I liked the lemon-pepper pie better, and the
sauce needs more salt......).
