OK, here's what I made from the list:
Cabbage and left-overs stew (cabbage, left-over roast beef, bacon, carrots,
turnips,
garlic, fresh thyme, fresh
rosemary, fresh sage, salt.)
Hebed Chicken (chicken, marinaded in olive oil with shallots, garlic,
parsley, thyme,
rosemary, sage, and a bit of salt)
Boiled Cabbage
Rice
Pears in Red Wine Sauce (sauce: red wine, sugar, cinnamon, cloves)
Pretty basic, but this was my first attempt at anything like this.
