     stuff (and a lot more stuff from post-period, much of which may be 
     usable anyhow).
     
     More practically, do you mean alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages?  
     The range is huge, in either case.  And at which point in period, and 
     where?  Clearly, my 10th C Icelandic persona would have had a 
     different selection from my friend Alfonso's Italian Renaissance one, 
     or Cariadoc's Islamic one . . .
     
     (This should be fun, though.)
