SC - Spices

Greetings,

I am going to a wedding next week and thought to give a medival spice
sampler as a gift (recipes included).  The question I have is, what spices
should I include and in what amounts?
I have so far galangle (okay so I can't spell), long pepper,saffron,
cubebs,pepper, and grains of paradise.
Anyone have other suggestions?

Maeve (who lives in Seattle and like Anne Marie gets her spices from Tony
the spice boy)
