I strongly suspect, that Cariadoc is making reference to the redacted form of
the recipe which he feels has been redacted using the same proportions of
ingredients that you would use when preparing pound cake. And that if this
redaction is prepared as is it would be more like pound cake than short bread,
which, IMHO, he is correct about.
