Greetings:

In our discussions about 'bad' feasts, it was mentioned:

Speaking as one such "hat", that's a job I vie for when I'm not running
feast myself -- it takes some of the pressure off the cooking/serving crew
to have experienced servers working high table, and only high table. And if
that job's taken, I'll usually volunteer as a regular server: it's a great
way to help out, especially if they're understaffed, as can happen at
smaller events/coronets. You meet the nicest people in the kitchens (G).
