Don't worry about it m'lady. I oftentimes ask for and recieve documentation.
So far as I know the topics of conversation on this list are not restricted.
Those that have a problem with certain things always post their objections
when their specific bugaboo pops up and those who are aware of those persons
basiclly ignore them. ;-)

I left 2 other recipes lists, one of which was supposedly a list for food lore
after getting all kinds of bizaare threats for asking for recipes for Guinea
Pig and Horse. The supposed food lore list turned out to be a bunch of old
ladies who preferred swapping cookie recipes instead of a dynamic group of
individuals sincerely interested in food lore. :-0

This list is specifically, IMHO, dedicated to SCA cookery and a goodly portion
of those of us here read through the posts that are irrelevant to that subject
for the specific purpose of gleaning documensources and RECIPES (did you catch
that, all you who respond privately when a recipe is requested throught the
list?) For myself, I wade through the irrelevancy to hunt for those things and
pre-15th century items.

Since the study and research of cooking PRE-1600 (or 1650 if you stretch it)
is the purpose of the list, IMHO, ANY THING asked for, discussed, or presented
within that context is ENTIRELY appropriate ............which brings me to the
question that begs to be asked > Does any one have or know of resources for
pre-16th century Spanish Conquest or native Inca recipes for Guinea Pig?
