These ingredients are not to my knowledge typical Medieval ingredients
butstrongly suggest a "nouvelle cuisine".

These to me suggest a middle-eastern influence as well, as they are
ingredients described in many of the foods in the "Arabian Nights", half to a
third of which originated well in period.
