I agree with Bear. Non-profit does not mean (under the legal definition)
that the organization cannot make a profit, in fact non-profits may make a
larger amount of "profit" (usually called surplus). What non-profit means,
is how that money is distributed. Non-profits cannot give money to its
"owners". The "we can't make money" is a common misconception in the SCA.
Our Society, Kingdoms, Shires, etc and make money hand over fist. We just
can't enrich our owner/members.
