I have a little problem with this statement. How did the French get
saffron from the Moors at Poitiers, if it wasn't introduced to Spain for
another 200+ years, unless we are talking about use and cultivation?
The statement makes Trager's 961 C.E. date for the introduction of
saffron to Spain reasonable.
Looks like I need to add another book to the library.
