SC - Drink suggestions?

caudles-art       (12K) 11/21/97    A medieval drink of warm wine or beer 
                                       thickened with eggs by Tibor.
kvass-msg         (45K)  5/30/97    Russian drink made from bread or grains.
wassail-msg       (15K)  9/ 4/97    Spiced cider and ale drinks.

Some of these drinks have period referances and original recipes, some
do not. But it is a reasonable starting place. You didn't mention
whether you were looking for alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages.

Caudles sound like they might be a good drink now that the winter season
is upon us. I would love to hear more from those who have made them.
