Note that this recipe (like most of the ones on the list I've seen so far)
are not period, and clearly have modern ingredients in them.  This is not
necessarily a bad thing: but lest people get the wrong impression.

(Tea, and Oil of Bergamot in particular are post period.  Tea in mead is
post period.  Earl Grey tea is black tea with Oil of Bergamot.  Bergamot is
a citrus tree grown in Southern Italy.)
