I remember it, though I don't remember printing it. Is it possible that
it's even more than ten years ago (I was editor from 1986-89)? Or is my
memory really getting that bad? <grin>

I held this competition at a Boredom War (East Kingdom) several years
ago when they still allowed open fires at that site. We only had three
entries, but everyone had fun.

Don't see any reason why not! <grin> We could post a list of
ingredients and a deadline, and have everyone submit how they handled
the challenge.

We'd need to decide if we want seige cooking, which means a very limited
supply of food, or expand it to be a "what would you do with these?"
kind of thing.

Any victi-- err, volunteers?

Oh, and as this is my first post, I ought to introduce myself.
Rosalinde De Witte, East Kingdom. I've been in and out of the SCA, real
life permitting, for about 11 years.
