Try starting with just one or two dishes rather than a whole dinner.  Maybe
a simple private dinner with limited menu.  I can't think fast having never
fantasized about multiple dinners with a zillion raw ingredients.....  Also
I'm at work and sneak reading in between some of my other stuff.  Depending
on how busy I am is sometimes how often I respond.

Sample idea....
 How about something like autumn, you have been asked by Rosamund to
prepare a small dinner for Henry II(England).  Since she is staying in his
hunting lodge, you have game available. You also have.. ... prepare a
simple meal suitable for entertaining in the bedchamber.

Clare St. John, who has to return to the real world and find a loose snake.
