I wouldn't try to guess. The use of so many new world foods implies
considerable change in the recipe, so there may be lots of less obvious
changes as well. If you want to reconstruct it, your best guess would be to
look for period references to it.

An English translation of _Domostroi_ was published a few years back by
Cornell University Press. The 17th c. Hungarian translation of a German
cookbook I have a photocopy of--also the German one. I do not believe that
English translations of either exist.
