The carnations and daisies are iffy BUT the roses would look great!
Especially with a white table covering or even blue. Roses were definantly in
the Middle-East during the middle ages. The Damask Rose is the very rose they
use for making
 attar of roses and rose oil, etc.! :-)
 Roses would definitely be nice and appropriate, IMHO.
