Perhaps, Your Excellency, you may be correct. The site I copyied the quote
from was http://www.sca.org. 

As a Persian persona I felt compelled to make a passing comment. It was not
meant to re-kindle the European vs. non-European discussion, as most of us
have opinions on the subject that may or may not be correct. :-)
