My son is also a great cook. He is 17 and in German 4. This year
for the International Food Fair the the Language departments at his
school host every year his class was required to find (or use one of
the teachers) recipes in German and translate it, then fix it and
bring it to the fair to for everyone to try. Eian used a copy of
Gutter Spicea (SP) that Mistress Katerinia von Nurenbrugh from the
East Kingdom gave me. It was a xerox of the original with her
translation. He used the orginial and translated and redacted it
himself. Then he made the dish and took everything in. The teachers
were amazed. They didn't know anything like that even existed.
Needless to say it got great grades for the project but his German
teacher keeps asking him for more recipes to try.
