Concerning wedding feasts: there are surviving menus reproduced in Austin at the end of the first manuscript and, I believe, in the Menagier. The ones in Austin are from 14th and 15th C England (not all the menus are weddings, but some are); the Menagier's, presumably, would be 14th C France. Hope this helps! Cheers, - -- Katerine/Terry
