nary a clue, but depending on how large in diameter the piercings are in
a food mill, you can get from thick liquid to paste out, where a china
cap is more used for pressing out liquid from solids in making sauces

i think those are mennonite, for some reason and dated to the 1820 or
so, cant remember where i read it, but it does carry a us patent

well, pumps like the long handled fulcrum lift pump that you see in
movies and such date to around thje 1700s, but there were other forms of
pump that date to around 300 bc[an archimedes screw type] but i have
figured a way to hace a steam run rotoflex type using period technology
and materials...
