Most definately yes. Game was, is and should always be field dressed. To not
do so would risk disease and spoilage. I suspect that originally the practise
started as a way of leaving an offering to the God/desses, evolved to tyhe
point of realizing that field dressed carcesses did not spoil as reapidly and
finally to the realization that it was a health risk not to do so.
