Probably, but it is a serious subject for history, sociology, clinical
psychology, criminology and a bunch of other ologies I can't think of
this late at night.  Reay Tannahill, who wrote Food in History, which
touches on cannibalism, has also written Flesh and Blood: a History of
the Cannibal Complex.  While I'm not particularly interested in serving
my fellow man, humans as a menu item do evoke a morbid, casual interest
(especially when you keep running across the references in casual
reading).

Why not a chocolate apple?
