It might help to think of it in terms of the opera (as in plural of
opus) of Barry Manilow. Many people don't want to go through the
experience again, although in the case of beer, there's less vomiting.
That might be a factor.

Adamantius, who recently heard of a case in, I think, Idaho, where Barry
Manilow recordings were among the things used to attempt to end a siege
standoff situation, AFTER the tear gas and concussion grenades had
failed...
