Factoid: SCA events are not "public" events. They are for SCA participants
and guests. In PA at least a site's kitchen will have been inspected and
licensed by the DPH through the people or organization owning the site. No
exceptions so the matter of a permit or health inspections at any given site
are neither a concern of nor within the realm of things to be concerned
aboutwhen renting a site other than making sure that the freezer and walk-in
temperatures are recorded on the official form posted on the door of these
particular conveniences if they are so instructed.

In general, compliance with the health code is not a worry for SCA cooks in
PA if they follow normal sanitary practices. AND MOST CERTAINLY THE ODDS OF
AN OFFICIAL STATE INSPECTER SHOWING UP ON SITE ON A WEEKEND RANGE FROM NIL TO
NON-EXISTENT since those particular civil service jobs are Mon-Fri 9-5.

Ras (who fervently wishes he could transferred from the PLCB to the state
library system or the DPH. :-))
