I met Master Beverly at Twenty Year Celebration and I was really thrilled
to meet the first Laurel (I also met Diana and Frederick, but I was most
thrilled with meeting Master Beverly). He was a very nice man and spent a
lot of time talking to me about the early years of the SCA and the first
tournament. I was very sad to hear of his passing.
