Hah. Boy, the things you learn on this list! I coulda sworn that
somewhere in the writings of Dr. Madeline Pillner Cosmaniac there is a
reference to the Great Embarrassment Plague of 947-'48, C.E., in which
anthrax, a.k.a. foot-in-mouth disease, swept Europe, cleaning up the
overall mess, but leaving the medical profession really embarrassed...
